Cows wasting away in govt's gosadans

At the Dabur Hare Krishna Gosadan in Surhera village, the official mortality rate stands between three to five a day. The shelter houses around 1100 animals.

One of the reasons offered for the death of animals by the volunteers working in the gosadans was that these animals are accustomed to eating garbage and their stomach contains polythene and are unable to digest the food offered at the gosadans. Some animals refuse to take the green fodder and prefer to stay hungry.

Hindu Holocaust Museum

"The massacres perpetrated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks; more extensive even than the slaughter of the South American native populations by the invading Spanish and Portuguese."

Superbugs found in chicken survey

Significant numbers of chickens on sale in UK shops are contaminated with superbugs, a scientific survey commissioned by BBC One's Real Story suggests.

Of the British-grown chickens analysed, over half were contaminated with multi-drug resistant E.coli which is immune to the effects of three or more antibiotics.

More than a third of the 147 samples, which included overseas and UK produced chicken, had E.coli germs resistant to the important antibiotic Trimethoprim which is used to treat bladder infections.

Monsanto files patent for new invention: the pig

Geneva, Switzerland — It's official. Monsanto Corporation is out to own the world's food supply, the dangers of genetic engineering and reduced biodiversity notwithstanding, as they pig-headedly set about hog-tying farmers with their monopoly plans. We've discovered chilling new evidence of this in recent patents that seek to establish ownership rights over pigs and their offspring.
